Started my locs last October.. spent hundreds of dollars getting my hair interlocked because that’s apparently what they said I needed.. but it still looked horrible. Lost a lot of length. She said “trust the process” so I kept going back for retwists not knowing any better. My hair looks amazing now after finding a loctician in Orlando who crochets my dreads.I bought this “special oil” from this place which apparently she made herself but come to find out it’s just African healing oil that she slaps her own label on.Charged me $45 when it’s $8.99 in Beauty supply stores. Wow.

Wow!! What a loc journey I am having with Ms. Mattie. She did my starter locs for me and now I’m in love with the whole journey process. I been waiting for 4 yrs to lock my hair but just couldn’t find the right Loctician to do it. I’m so blessed to have found Ms. Mattie to join me in my journey. Mattie did an excellent job with my starter locs! She was professional and friendly. She helped me to feel comfortable with the whole experience as I do not trust others easily with my hair. Mattie is very experience,she did a great job to pin my braids up for mother's day,my only problem was my appointment was 11.30am and I did not get in the chair until about 1pm,but she was very friendly and I will go back...thanks mattie...
